The PMU-16 is the replacement for the old-fashioned fuses and relays. The PMU-16 provides the complete power supply for various components, including lighting, windshield wipers, engine parts, fans and pumps. by means of various inputs and outputs can be controlled. Each output can be programmed by software for both overcurrent and undercurrent, making the possibilities endless. Decades ago, the critical electronic components in a race car were the ignition coil and the points. Race cars now feature advanced engine management systems, anti-lock braking systems, paddle shifters, data loggers, radios, electric pumps, fans and lights.
