Wat kan de PMU
Een van de belangrijkste voordelen van de PMU is de continue stroomdetectie en zelfherstellende functionaliteit als de stroom het gedefinieerde niveau overschrijdt. Alle informatie over de uitgangsstatus, spanning en stroom kan worden geregistreerd en via de CAN-bus naar dashboarddisplays worden verzonden om bestuurders op de hoogte te stellen van mogelijke problemen. Een bijkomend voordeel van het PMU-systeem is de mogelijkheid om logica te definiëren voor het aansturen van uitgangen. Dit gebeurt met gegevens van analoge ingangskanalen of CAN-busgegevens, en voor elk kanaal kunnen wiskundige bewerkingen worden gedefinieerd.
USB naar CAN-adapter (u kunt een Peak PCAN- of Kvaser CAN-kabel gebruiken, maar een van deze drie USB naar CAN-interfaces moet worden gebruikt om het apparaat te programmeren)
